Develop, extend and support Shopify shops
We build Shopify shops, develop existing shops further and automate processes. From design and performance optimisation to integrations and custom apps – tailored to your shop and your requirements.
Whether a complete rebuild or a specific task during live operation: we clarify the effort in advance and implement the solution pragmatically.
You do not need a new shop, just a solution to a specific problem? We also help with individual tasks during live operation.
What we build for your Shopify shop
Whether a new shop or an extension during live operation: we take care of the technical implementation, so your shop runs reliably and can grow with your requirements.
-
01
Theme and design
We adapt your existing theme or develop a custom theme based on Shopify Online Store 2.0. Content and layouts remain editable in the theme editor.
-
02
Loading time and performance
We look into what slows your shop down – such as images, fonts, themes or app scripts. We then optimise the relevant parts and, where possible, improve the Core Web Vitals.
-
03
Internationalisation
With Shopify Markets we set up selling to further countries. Depending on your needs, this includes languages, currencies, country-specific prices and shipping rules.
-
04
Apps and integrations
We connect Shopify to inventory management, ERP, accounting, shipping providers or marketplaces. If there is no suitable standard solution, we develop a custom integration.
-
05
Automation
With Shopify Flow and our own integrations we automate recurring processes – for example order tagging, internal notifications and low-stock alerts.
-
06
Product data and catalogue
We structure variants, metafields and metaobjects so products are maintained consistently, filtered precisely and processed reliably via integrations.
How your new Shopify shop comes together
We first build your shop as a development store on our Shopify partner account. You can review the implementation before the shop is transferred to your own account and published.
-
Step 1 of 4
Clarify requirements
We discuss your range, design, payment and shipping methods as well as the apps and integrations you need. You then receive an estimate of the effort and the next steps.
-
Step 2 of 4
Set up the development store
We create the shop as a development store and start the technical implementation. During this development phase you pay no regular Shopify subscription fees.
-
Step 3 of 4
Build and test the shop
We set up theme, products, apps and the agreed features. You review the shop before handover – including test orders and the intended processes.
-
Step 4 of 4
Handover and launch
We transfer the shop to your own Shopify account. You choose your plan, enter the required settings and open the shop for sales.
You do not need a new shop?
We also handle individual tasks directly in your existing shop. You describe what should change or where things are stuck. We estimate the effort and agree the implementation with you.
New requirements? We take care of the technical implementation.
The requirements for online shops keep changing. New legal requirements bring additional features, notices or product information that have to be implemented in the shop.
We implement such changes technically in your Shopify shop – even when the shop is already live.
Examples of new and changed requirements
-
Withdrawal button
A new feature that lets consumers declare their withdrawal directly in the online shop.
-
Guarantee notices
New requirements for presenting the legal guarantee and durability guarantees.
-
Environmental and sustainability claims
Adjustments to product descriptions, banners and other information about environmental characteristics.
-
Accessibility
Technical adjustments to operation, forms and design, insofar as the legal requirements apply to the shop.
-
Product safety information
Additional information on manufacturers, responsible persons and safety notices on product pages.
-
Price information and price reductions
The correct technical display of unit prices, shipping costs and earlier prices for price reductions.
These three jackets match your request:
Shopify and AI shopping
Customers increasingly discover products through AI assistants as well. With Shopify Agentic Storefronts, eligible shops can make their products available via ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other supported channels.
For products to be classified correctly and the right information to be shown, product data, variants and key shop information must be maintained consistently.
We help you to:
- map variants and product attributes completely and consistently
- structure metafields and metaobjects sensibly
- write product descriptions that are clear and informative
- provide key information on shipping, returns and range cleanly
- check the technical requirements for supported AI sales channels
This creates a solid data foundation for product search – in your own shop, via integrations and in supported AI channels.
How individual products are found and displayed also depends on the respective platforms, their requirements and their selection mechanisms.
A custom Shopify app for orders and invoices
When standard apps do not fit your processes, we develop a custom Shopify app. It connects your shop to the systems you already use and automates recurring tasks.
-
Transfer orders automatically
New orders are passed on to your inventory management, accounting or ERP. Data no longer has to be entered twice or exported regularly as CSV.
-
Create invoices automatically
We connect Shopify to your invoicing or develop the integration needed. Depending on the connected system, invoices can be created and delivered automatically – where supported, also in formats such as ZUGFeRD or XRechnung.
-
Sync stock and prices
Stock levels and prices are reconciled between your leading system and Shopify. This reduces manual upkeep and avoids sales based on outdated stock data.
-
Limit access rights precisely
The integration only receives the permissions it needs for its task. We determine which access is required based on the specific features.

Frequently asked questions about Shopify
Short, straight answers. If your question is not covered, just get in touch.
Ask a questionYes. We also take on individual tasks in existing shops – for example theme adjustments, technical errors, performance optimisation, integrations or automation. The shop does not have to be rebuilt for this.
That depends on the task. Smaller, clearly defined work can be offered at a fixed price. For larger projects we bill by effort, agree a fixed project scope or, for example, a share of the shop revenue. Which option makes sense is clarified before implementation starts.
We can first build the shop as a development store on our Shopify partner account. At handover we transfer it to your own account. From then on you need the appropriate Shopify plan for regular operation. Costs for apps or external services may arise independently of this.
Not necessarily. Many shops can be built on the regular Shopify plans. Whether Shopify Plus makes sense depends on your requirements – for example checkout customisation, organisation, internationalisation or certain features. We check with you which solution is actually needed.
We implement legal requirements technically in the shop and integrate the content and features intended for them. We do not write the legal texts themselves – such as terms and conditions, withdrawal policy or privacy policy.
We align permissions with the features needed. An integration that only reads orders, for example, receives no additional write access unless it is required. We agree the specific permissions based on the intended use.
